What the free check collects
The Reality Check records qualification stage, board, graduation year, subjects, marks, degree and career interests, country and location preferences, broad family-funding ranges, loan and sponsor status, test and recommendation readiness, language and part-time preferences, risk tolerance, age band and consent choices. It does not request passports, bank statements or document uploads.
Browser storage
Free-check answers and the public demo are stored in the current browser. An under-18 draft is not persisted unless parent or guardian consent is confirmed. Browser data remains until it is reset or site data is cleared.
Paid plan and workspace
Before payment, Routewise stores the buyer email, age and consent fields, questionnaire answers, saved route IDs, tasks, document and test statuses, planning amounts, family note and decision history. The product tracks document status only and does not provide a document-upload field.
A signed, essential browser cookie keeps the paid plan accessible after checkout. It does not contain quiz answers or payment credentials. If that cookie is cleared or the buyer changes devices, a verified email access link can be requested to restore the purchase.
Business Abroad Guide
The separate guide checkout stores the purchase email, the two selected money and academic categories, adult-buyer confirmation, optional marketing consent, attribution fields, order status and product-specific entitlement. It does not copy or overwrite the Live Plan workspace. A separate signed essential cookie provides guide access, and verified email recovery is available after changing devices.
Why information is used
Information is used to calculate route classifications, run affordability scenarios, save and export the workspace, apply consent choices and operate security and error controls. Optional marketing consent is separate from service communication and can be withdrawn.
Under-18 applicants
An under-18 private profile cannot be saved unless parent or guardian consent is confirmed. Families should review financial assumptions, accommodation and minor-travel requirements together.
Export, deletion and retention
Paid workspace settings provide a JSON export and direct deletion control. Deletion removes the saved profile and workspace. Correction submissions are retained separately to preserve the public evidence-review trail and must not include personal documents. Operational logs may be retained for a limited period for security and reliability.
Payments and transaction records
Razorpay processes payment details. Routewise stores the verified buyer email, order and payment identifiers, amount, status, timestamps and entitlement records. Card, bank and UPI credentials are not stored by Routewise. Transaction records may be retained after workspace deletion where needed for refunds, disputes, accounting, fraud prevention and legal obligations.
Advertising measurement
Meta marketing events are sent only when an adult user has chosen optional marketing consent. Routewise sends standard events such as quiz completion, checkout start and purchase; it does not send marks, family finances, country choices or scholarship answers to Meta. Marketing tracking is not loaded for an under-18 profile.
Google Analytics 4 measures page views and funnel events using consent mode. Analytics and advertising storage remain denied unless an adult buyer chooses optional marketing consent. Before consent, Google may receive limited cookieless measurement. Routewise does not send buyer email, marks, funding answers or other raw quiz answers to Google.
Sharing and commercial use
No university commission or applicant-data sale is included. Infrastructure providers process information only to host the service. Any future referral relationship must be disclosed beside the affected record and cannot secretly change recommendation logic.

The monitored support address displayed at checkout handles privacy, payment and account requests. The correction form remains limited to public programme-data issues and must not contain personal documents.
