How Routewise reaches a classification

Last updated 26 July 2026

What the system does

Routewise compares academic, subject, geography, financial, test, recommendation and execution inputs with structured programme records. It orders records with an internal score and displays the top three as a decision brief. The score is not an admission probability and is never presented as one.

Classification meanings

Realistic
The demonstration threshold is met, required evidence appears ready, and entered funding covers both base first-year cost and pre-departure liquidity without a critical blocker.
Conditional
The route may work after one or more material facts—such as qualification recognition, subject eligibility, test evidence or cash timing—are resolved.
Scholarship-dependent
Entered confirmed funding does not cover the base cost, but the demonstration award scenario could close the first-year gap.
Competitive reach
Even a strong profile cannot make the outcome predictable. The route must not be the only plan.
Ineligible
A material demonstration threshold or degree-area match is missed. Official exceptions can still exist.
Insufficient evidence
There is not enough applicant or programme information to classify responsibly.

Financial-range handling

The free check asks for broad contribution ranges rather than exact bank balances. A visible planning midpoint is used for comparison. Possible sponsor money and loans that are only being considered are excluded from confirmed funding.

Affordability rules

The model separates tuition, mandatory fees, twelve months of living costs, application fees, university and housing deposits, travel and setup, tuition due before arrival, visa or proof-of-funds liquidity, family cash, monthly support, confirmed loan and confirmed sponsor contribution. Visa liquidity and setup cash are compared without counting the same money twice.

Scholarships are excluded from the base gap and applied only in a second scenario. Their timing and renewal conditions stay visible. Part-time income is never included in confirmed funding or visa evidence.

Evidence standard

Launch records are demonstration data. Each contains official programme, funding and visa links; last- and next-review dates; a verification status; likely documents; eligibility notes; and change history where available. “Reviewed” does not mean a future intake is final.

What Routewise cannot do

Routewise cannot guarantee admission, funding, visa issuance, employment, housing or safety. It is not legal, immigration, financial or tax advice. The institution, funder and relevant government remain the final authority.

Rroutewise

Decision support for Indian undergraduate applicants. Not an admissions, scholarship, visa, legal or financial guarantee.
